Industry Leaders Turn Out for National Convention

Legacy Housing Corporation introduced our quality, affordable housing to community owners from across the South, including Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Texas, during the National Congress & Expo For Manufactured and Modular Housing.

The convention, which took place in New Orleans earlier this month, saw more than 3,000 leaders of the manufactured homes and community park owners mix, mingle and take in the Big Easy.

Welcome, Community Park Owners

Legacy Housing jumped into the mix by showcasing it’s two financing options for park owners: one, leasing a home for eight years with no money down or, two, financing to buy through our in-house program, which makes it easy to fill a pre-fab community at a reasonable cost.

“We appreciated the opportunity to speak with and interact with so many community owners, as these are the people propelling the industry forward,” said Fort Worth Plant General Manager Marco LeRoy, who attended the convention. “This time offered us the opportunity to hear what works for them, what doesn’t and how Legacy Housing fits their needs.”

Held at the Hyatt Regency, the convention featured Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson and reality tv show star, Bill Rancic.

The Legacy Housing Community team networked with more than hundreds of people, sharing our most popular models and passing out our industry-exclusive catalog.

But we weren’t all business.

Legacy encouraged booth visitors to try their hand (or swing) at a one-hole golf course. A hole in one earned an entry into a drawing for a pair of Apple AirPods.

We congratulate Tim of Morning View Communities for winning the AirPods!

As one of the conference’s 2019 sponsors, Legacy Housing funded breakfast on the last day of the show.

“Thank you to everyone who took a moment to visit the booth,” LeRoy said. “We look forward to seeing you next year.”

In 2020, MHI attendees will gather in Las Vegas. See you there!
