Legacy Housing Corp. has openings for an Import Manager to perform the following duties: Evaluate suppliers and analyze the product offerings to obtain the highest quality products for the lowest possible price; Purchase raw materials from international suppliers to meet supply chain objectives by comparing prices, lead time, quality and other factors; Analyze price, quality, and lead times using industry-specific and tools to buy the best raw materials at the lowest price; Evaluate bids, products, and contract terms related to the purchase of raw materials for Legacy Housing; Analyze sales records, inventory levels, suppliers, and economic factors to assist internal departments with financial reporting; Work with suppliers to determine delivery schedules to book and schedule every single shipment for import into the US for Legacy Housing Corporation, including deliveries from China, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Columbia; Calculate the burn rate of each import item and estimate the reorder date of each import item for company-wide; Negotiate shipping rates with freight forwarders in order to obtain the most competitive shipping rates; Coordinate transportation logistics for transferring raw materials from ports to different facilities to keep the production lines running.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field, plus 1 year of experience in Inventory Management, and demonstrated experience in: Data analysis; Analyze raw data and evaluate outcomes data, including lead time, pricing, specifications and usage, by using Microsoft Dynamics GP; Run inventory analysis to prevent shortages and fulfilled orders; ERP process/system and FIFO system; International trading market, international supply chain and international logistics; Work with vendors or suppliers to determine delivery schedule for products delivery, including scheduling shipments; Source products at competitive pricing; Perform competitor analysis.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8 a.m.-5 p.m./M-F.

Salary Range: $111,509 per year
